A potential donor sees an advertisement, article or news story and dials your number.
They connect instantly to the Donorphone IVR ( Interactive Voice Response) Platform and hear your chosen message in any voice you prefer:
Hello and thank you for calling [your charity] and enabling us to continue [your charity’s work].
By using this phone line you are helping to keep our administrative costs to a minimum. Please have your credit or debit card ready.
The donor is then taken through a simple process in which their card details are taken accurately and securely. The money is transferred to the charity bank account.
Your Donorphone system takes donations at a fraction of the cost of other phone systems – roughly the same as online, in fact. What’s more it does so 24 hours a day 365 days a year so is likely to increase donations dramatically.
It can collect all the donor information you need and will always ask if people wish to do a regular donation.

Donorphone uses Interactive Voice Response technology or IVR. IVR means our systems can understand speech and act upon it. IVR is becoming more and more widespread as the technology evolves and people become used to dealing with automated systems. However the Donorphone system is the only one built directly for application in the charity sector.
